New paint is awesome! However, you are never authorized to paint without permission. The lease states that no modifications to the home may be made without the prior authorization from the homeowner. In some cases, painting is considered, but it must be approved by the homeowner. If allowed, the painted walls will need to be restored to the original color when the resident vacates (unless a color is approved permanently). Please make any inquires via the residents portal.
