Hi,

Welcome to Nestwell Property Managements 24 Hour DIY Maintenance Center. Thank you for your inquiry regarding the hard water in your home, regardless of the presence of a water softener on the premises.

Hard water coming from a water softener usually occurs when three things happen. Either there is a clog in your water softener, there is a salt bridge at the bottom of the brine tank, or your water softener has run out of salt.

If you need additional assistance, please log in to your Resident Portal and Request a Repair.

Please be aware, if a vendor is dispatched to tend to these issues, and the resolution is resolved by removing a clog, removing a salt bridge, or replacing the salt in the water softener, a trip fee and other associated costs will be applied to your tenant ledger in the month following the vendors visit.
